Meet the Team

  • A woman with a long braid, smiling and showing teeth, seated indoors with wallpaper featuring ships and boats in the background.

Mariangela - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I'm a trainee psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis.

I believe therapy offers a space to process difficult emotions and experiences, to explore what matters most to you, to rediscover your own voice and your capacity for change. All at a pace that feels right for you.

I'm committed to inclusivity and to ensuring everyone feels welcome in the therapy room.

In my free time, I enjoy walking and swimming outdoors, getting lost in a good book, and exploring new places

Sascha - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I am studying a masters in integrative psychotherapy at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. My aim is to ensure that you feel safe and met with compassion, so that we can create a trusting therapeutic relationship.  I'm particularly passionate about working with people who are neurodivergent and with the LGBTQ+ community, as these communities are important to me.

Suz - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I’m a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy student in my final year.

I put all my clients at the center of the therapy and believe my role is to facilitate your greatness, be that moving on, up, out or through ♡

I love being a part of the Offload team and everything it represents, affordable mental health treatment should be the standard not the exception!

In my spare time I collect tattoos, watch live music, spend time with my animals and watch movies with my friends.

  • A woman with shoulder-length hair smiles at the camera in front of a black and white photo of rocks and water.

    Nadine - Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I’m a humanistic integrative trainee therapist who believes that the relationship is at the heart of the work. I aim to offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood as we explore whatever feels important to you. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of things, and connect more deeply with yourself.

Outside of sessions, you will usually see me with my headphones on! — music is my happy place and a big part of how I relax and recharge as well as spending time with my family.

  • A young woman with curly hair and light-colored eyes, looking at the camera with a gentle smile, in a black and white photograph.

Sarah - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I am a trainee Person-Centred Experiential Psychotherapist, with a BA in Criminology and Psychology and an MSc in Psychology.

I’m drawn to the quieter layers of life, exploring the feelings we don’t always have words for, developing deep and meaningful connections, and working together to understand what it truly means to be human.

Beyond therapy, I’m very much a work in progress. Being human is messy, but that’s okay. I run a small business and share life with my Doberman and Cane Corso. I’m an animal lover, happiest in the woodlands, with a soft spot for cows, horror films, feminist poetry, and a good game night!

  • A black and white photo of a person with short, tousled hair, smiling slightly, sitting on a patterned sofa.

Jen - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I'm in my third year of training in integrative psychotherapy. As well as working with Offload, I also have some experience of working with people who have experienced trafficking. I'm interested in how different social and cultural intersections impact on therapy work, and the effects and healing of trauma. I spend too much of my life commuting to places on my bike, which has both positives and negatives

  • Gwen

I’m a trained counselling psychologist and doctoral researcher in existential psychotherapy. Existential psychotherapy helps people explore life’s fundamental questions - who we are, what truly matters to us, how we want to live, and how to make sense of our life as a whole. My aim is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about whatever is going on in your world. I’m also the founder of Performance Psychotherapy® and author of Unbind Me, and I’ve lived and worked across several countries including the UK, Europe, US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East (I’ve been around as a young Gen-Xr!). Earlier in my life I faced addiction, abuse, illness and trauma and have experienced the power of therapy from the other side of the room, so I have a deep respect for the courage it takes to walk into a space like this.

    Lucy T-Founder/Director

Hiya! I’m Lucy, founder and director of Offload.

Whilst working in an entry level role in NHS leadership development, I completed my master's degree in integrative psychotherapy. I’d also been volunteering on various helplines since I was 21, and had a psychology degree already, so training to be a psychotherapist felt like something I was always meant to do.

I love a challenge, which is probably best evidenced by deciding to set up a non-profit in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis… oh my! I founded Offload in 2022 and have been building it ever since. It all started because I wanted to bridge the gap between short term, free support offered by the NHS, and private therapy that is financially inaccessible to most. And here we are, 4 years later!

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me powerlifting, watching stand-up comedy, cooking, reading, or warbling along in the car to emo and pop-punk songs from 2007.

  • Giani - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I am currently studying a MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am passionate about people, food, art, travelling and just experiencing life authentically. I enjoy swimming, games and coffees in bookstores where I’m buying books, just to get home and stare at them thinking ‘I’ll read you one day’.

Having a sense of community is important to me and I feel privileged to be part of Team Offload, making a difference in peoples’ lives and be fully present with you.

Having experienced the impact of these conditions in my own life. I am dedicated to fostering awareness and understanding, making a positive difference in the lives of those who are struggling.

    Kristy - Advisory Board

I’m a communications professional with experience across the higher education, arts and third sectors, and a freelance culture writer featured in several major publications and independent zines. I'm supporting the Offload team with communications and copywriting advice, particularly writing engaging and effective bids. Outside work, you'll find me at gigs, being clumsy at yoga or hanging out with my cat.

  • A smiling woman with wavy hair, wearing hoop earrings and a striped turtleneck sweater, in black and white.

Mandy - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

    “Nothing changes if nothing changes.”
Here at Offload, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where people can explore what’s happening in their lives and begin to make sense of what change might look like for them. Outside of therapy, I’m usually (slow) running, enjoying fancy coffees, watching films, or acting as my dog’s emotional support human. I’m currently working towards an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.

  • A man with light skin, a nose piercing, and wavy hair, wearing a cap with the text 'YETI COOLERS' and a black shirt, taking a selfie in a room with blurred background.

Josh - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I am currently studying for a BSc in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.

When I'm not in the therapist's chair, you'll find me exploring the world with my family in our campervan, moshing at festivals pretending I'm still cool, or riding a fire engine as a retained firefighter.

Fun Fact: I'm a 2x British Motocross Champion.

  • A close-up black and white photo of a smiling woman with long blonde hair, sitting inside a vehicle.

Isobel - Counsellor and Trainee Psychotherapist

I am studying a MSc in Person-centred and experiential therapy. For me, this means building a relationship with you, listening, connecting to your experiences and holding a space that feels safe for you whatever that means or looks like for you and wherever you may want to explore. I hold an undergraduate degree in Philosophy. Outside of therapy, I enjoy connecting with nature, engaging with philosophy and engaging in new experiences. Other times, I am just as happy with a cup of tea on the sofa!
